Hope is Not Lost—Authentic Leadership in Action!

This past weekend, I had the honor of speaking at Temple University for the 15th Annual Inclusive Leadership Conference hosted by Campus Philly—and what an inspiring experience it was!

Walking into the room on a Saturday morning, I was moved to see over 350 students gathered, eager to learn and engage. In that moment, I thought: Hope is not lost. Despite the challenges and discouragement surrounding DEI today, we must continue forging ahead—because the work is far from over.

We explored how authentic leadership can bridge gaps, foster inclusion, and transform communities. The students' passion, insights, and engagement during our case study discussions reaffirmed what I already knew—our future leaders care deeply about diversity, inclusion, and unity. They see the world for what it is, but more importantly, for what it can be.

I left Temple inspired and energized because the next generation is ready to lead the charge for a more inclusive, united world where we can all thrive together.

🙏🏽 Thank you, Temple University & Campus Philly, for hosting such an impactful event.
👏🏽 A special shoutout to Aubrey Cruz for your collaboration.
🎓 To the students—I take my hat off to you and am rooting for your success!

Let’s keep moving forward, together.
