Michelle Taylor

Michelle A. Taylor is President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Delaware (UWDE) and chief steward of the United Way brand in Salem County, New Jersey. She works collaboratively with a diverse group of community partners to ensure that children and families realize their full potential, regardless of zip code, and is especially focused on helping achieve and sustain racial equity and social justice for all. Taylor leads implementation of UWDE’s long- term strategic initiatives aimed at improving outcomes in third-grade literacy, college and career readiness, and financial empowerment, especially in low-income communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Morgan State University, an MBA from Wilmington University, and is pursuing an EdD in Organizational Leadership at Wilmington University (2021).
