Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Adeline Nukuna is a practicing Obstetrician & Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She currently serves as Chair of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beebe Healthcare, Delaware.

Recently, Dr. Nukuna was recognized by one of her patients and Beebe Healthcare Foundation, for the excellent services she provides and was featured in the Cape Gazette.

Dr. Nukuna’s mission is to provide women with tools to expand their capacity to attain and maintain good health. In addition, she inspires, empowers, and equip individuals with strategies to accomplish their goals despite their challenges.

Dr. Nukuna is passionate about serving her community. As part of her community service, Dr. Nukuna is keen on engaging young people to take responsibility for their health. To that effect, she has, through the ‘Pathways to Success’ program, been a guest speaker in several High Schools. She has also been a guest speaker at several community events. Dr. Nukuna has written several articles in the newspaper and women’s magazine advocating for individuals to own and take good care of their health.

Dr. Nukuna holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree from the University of London, London, England.

Dr. Nukuna is married to her husband, Godfrey Madukwe and they have three children. Besides practicing medicine, Dr. Nukuna loves to write, spend time with her family, and uses every opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. She is currently working on a book, which she hopes, will help others to move beyond challenges.
